What it does
Everything FCP’s sound browser should have been.
Built by editors who got tired of the spinning wheel. Point it at your libraries once and every search after that is instant.
Index gigantic libraries
Point it at a folder. That’s the setup.
ABX scans and indexes your master SFX and music folders once, building waveforms and preview data as it goes. Ten folders or ten thousand.
Search & deploy
Drag straight onto the timeline.
Find it, audition it, drop it into your project. Or pull clips in from the Final Cut clipboard.
Audio Units
Stack the plug-ins Final Cut sees.
Build a chain, reorder it, bypass it. iZotope, Apple, whatever you own.
Clip editor
Trim, fade, save. Before the timeline.
Volume, EQ, pitch, pan, stereo or mono, and output leveling by Peak, Loudness or Maximize.
Lives inside Final Cut
Right there in the Extensions menu.
Folders, favorites, tags and notes follow you across libraries. Convert CAF, MP3 or AIFF to WAV, AAC and more.
We waited for someone to fix it. Nobody did. So we built Audio Browse X.
Pricing
Pay once. Own it. (No subscription. Ever.)
No serials, install limits or DRM nonsense. Free updates and fixes until the next genuinely big release.
